Job Description:
Immediate need for an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of seven to ten years of experience preparing design of Electrical, Fire Alarm and Low Voltage systems from inception to complete construction documents.

Responsibilities:

• Design Electrical, Fire Alarm and Low Voltage systems
• Low Voltage includes Communications, Audio/Visual and Security systems.
• Design from inception to complete construction documents
• Complete all phases of design from schematics through construction administration.
• Meet with clients to develop scope of project.
• Develop project specifications.
• Knowledge of NYC filing requirements and procedures
• Review of submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.

Qualifications:

• 7-8-10 + years of similar Engineering experience with MEP firms
• Proven experience designing Electrical systems in an MEP or A/E firm.
• Experience with communication systems design
• Knowledge of Building and Energy codes, NEC, NFPA requirements
• Strong computer, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP skills
• PE license or LEED cert is a plus but not at all required.
• MUST have excellent communication and writing skills.
• MUST be willing to work in-person. (In-person 5 days/week)
• MUST be eligible to work in the US.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
