Intern - Civil Engineer - CDG Engineers, Inc.

As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects. You will be working with a team responsible for creating detailed engineering plans, specifications, and reports for highways, roadways, and site developments.

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - currently enrolled in school as a Junior graduating in 2026, or a Senior graduating in 2025. (Note: Technical Degree for a Technician/Design role also available).
• ABILITY TO WORK 40 HOURS PER WEEK DURING SUMMER 2024 (SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS CONSIDERED FOR THE RIGHT APPLICANT).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software.
• Knowledge of Civil3D proficiency a must.
• Must be able to comply with all client and industry safety requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify technical issues.

Preferred requirements:

• Masters Degree OR MBA
• PE license
• Exposure to Microstation, Bentley, GeoPak InRoads or OpenRoads (ORD) experience
• Exposure to Hydraulics Analysis
