The Data Integration team is responsible for extracting data from various sources, transforming the data as required, and loading it to various targets (ETL.) This team develops, maintains and supports the Enterprise Data Warehouse system, corresponding data marks and data interfaces between operational systems. Interns will get hands-on learning and will analyze and will provide support for the team by working with documentation to structure processes and data for accuracy, efficiency, and maintainability. 

• Perform data analysis and requirements gathering tasks
• Ability to design and implement data models documentation and monitoring protocols
• Demonstrated understanding and experience with technical systems, datasets, data warehouses, and data analysis techniques
• Knowledge of cloud-based data architecture for structured and unstructured data
• Broad understanding of data modeling techniques such as Relational 3NF and Dimensional data modeling
• Exposure to cloud technologies and tools such as Microsoft Azure and Databricks
• Can perform data analysis, data modeling and data administration tasks with limited supervision
• Be able to communicate with business users to gather requirements for logical/physical data models
• Work closely with IT team members to clarify and refine functional data requirement specifications
• Advanced SQL knowledge and knowledge of Python and/or PySpark highly desired
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus

Qualifications 

• Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship. 
• Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA. 
• Junior or Senior classification preferred. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.  
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.  
• Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. 
• Must be able to work independently or in a team setting. 
• Previous internships are considered a plus.
