- 5-7 years of military experience or working directly with related military systems
- Technical Training in C4ISR Systems Administration, C4ISR Network Administration, or C4ISR Hardware Maintenance.
- Security+ Certification
- Eight or more years of direct experience supporting Distributed Common Ground Surface System – Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) programs, projects, or initiatives with:

- Training
- Demonstrated expertise with DCGS-MC during exercises, training events, and while forward deployed
- Demonstrated Training and Instruction experience in a class-room and field environment
- Demonstrated ability to provide specialized knowledge and skill of the operation, technical processes, and maintenance requirements for DCGS-MC to include network connectivity, administration and advanced operational techniques
- Demonstrated ability to provide system network support to DCGS-MC configuration, site integration, site installation, and operations and maintenance of Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
- Demonstrated ability to provide system administration support to DCGS-MC focusing on operational readiness
- Demonstrated ability to provide system operations support to DCGS-MC as the primary system operator or while providing over-the-shoulder support
- Demonstrated technical knowledge sufficient to conduct New Equipment Training, Unit Training, and Classroom Instruction ensuring operators, maintainers, and system administrators understand how to use and support the DCGS-MC to maximize operational capability and minimize system downtime
- Demonstrated cross-system functional and technical expertise the Terrestrial Human Intelligence (T/HUMINT), Identity Operations (IDOps), Electronic Warfare/Signals Intelligence (EW/SIGINT), Command and Control (C2), and/or Full Motion Video (FMV) systems while during exercises, training events, and forward deployed
- Demonstrated ability to provide Level 1 Helpdesk Support
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Marine Corps’ Systems Approach to Training and Marine Corps Order 1553.1b
- Working knowledge in the following:
- Tactical and shipboard network architectures, transport layers, and communications systems
- Virtual Machines
- Routers
- Network Switches
- All FMV platforms and the their transport layers
- Marine Corps method of providing POI’s
- MEU TTP’s
- Marine Corps, Navy, and DOD Cyber Security policies and procedures
- All-Source Analysis Tools
This task requires the employee to provide support to Marine Corps System Command Project Offices and the Regional Intelligence Training Center (RITC) that includes software deployment, system interoperability, hardware analysis and evaluation of future upgrades to new and existing Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISR-E) systems, training and fielding support. The employee will further provide on-site Field Service Support, training and helpdesk support which may include deployment to an active combat zone and/or working non-traditional business hours to support Marine Corps operations.
- Relies on personal technical knowledge, operational expertise, and proven experience to provide technical support to MCISR-E systems
- Has specialized knowledge of the operation, technical processes and maintenance requirements of MCISR-E systems, networks, and advanced operational techniques to ensure effective exploitation of system capabilities
- Provides system network assistance to identified MCISR-E system configurations, site integration, site installation, and operations and maintenance of Local Area Networks / Wide Area Networks
- Provides system administration support focused on system readiness
- Provides system operation support to include being the primary system operator and assisting in operational setup or resolution of issues as they arise
- Assists in the provision of over-the-shoulder, Remedial, New Equipment, Unit Sustainment, and Classroom Training on system network, system administration or system operation as required
- Participates in Integrated Product Teams, working groups, configuration control boards and/or engineering review groups
- Provides direct support to the integration of software/hardware, burn-in testing, quality assurance and technical support to operational forces deploying to active theaters
- Conducts emerging technology assessments based on research, technical interchanges and other sources
- Provides recommendations on the training and integration of new / improved capabilities within identified MCISR-E systems
- Provides fielding support in accordance with the Program Fielding Plans
- Adheres to established Turn-Around-Time requirements
- Provides the RITC with instructor services; and provides training support and services that include Task Analysis, Functional Requirements, application/segment evaluations, exercise support, Mobile Training Team support, software beta testing, systems refresh training, and the review of Joint training materials to enhance classroom instruction
- Analysis of actual or predictive operational activities or systems to obtain a quantitative and rational basis for decision making or resource allocation
- Performs research and analysis on a project or system to enhance the technical and economic development of the product and/or system
- Supports test events to include test observation and recording, data collection, storage, reduction, analysis, problem identification, and report preparation
- Supports day-to-day operations including equipment upgrades, installations, training and technical support; and 5) providing on-site technical analysis and support to MCISR-E programs
