About the Job
This intern will support engineers in various project tasks as needed. Major emphasis of the role will be support with validation of pre-production software and hardware.
Key Responsibilites:
- Execute US-specific validation for assigned components and/or feature set.
- Ensure proper calibration of data acquisition equipment and correct vehicle test HW/SW configuration.
- Report project status and test results to BMW engineering using the standard BMW reporting tools (e.g. Brian, Octane) and other agreed methods.
- Support the development process by validating pre-integration software in vehicle and/or on devices/apps depending on project need.
- Create and maintain test cases for current and future system features.

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90
The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80
The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have completed at least 30 college credit hours at time of application
- Field of study: Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical)
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
- Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, Collaborative, Strong Team Player
- Initiative and ability to work independently
