Job Description Summary:
The Product Engineering Intern will handle and support a variety of projects within the Product Engineering Office. Assignments can include working on supporting our applications and development team, assisting with the management of Option Care Health’s software development, risk management, and metrics and reporting programs. Some vulnerability review may also be requested as part of the software development cycle.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
+ Computer Programming, working with the software architect and PE managers under close supervision.
+ Participate in scrum ceremonies, code reviews and security vulnerability reviews. Contributes to the development of new code.
+ Trouble shooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
+ Working with QA Department, assist in testing software, and documentation
+ Proactively learning about new program languages and technology
+ Knowledgeable In Agile and Scrum Methodologies, preferably has Atlassian Jira experience
+ Identifying problems and creating solutions
+ Communicate and collaborate with senior leaders and team members

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
Current undergraduate junior, senior, or graduate with IT Software Engineering background
Basic Qualifications
+ Software Engineering experience in Java, Java script, Golang, Angular, Apache, SQL (some or all)
+ Demonstrated ability to assess when to ask for help versus when to complete assignments with limited assistance (required).
+ Effective oral and written communication skills (required).
+ Demonstrate ability to appropriately analyze, interpret, and discuss low to moderately complex issues (required).
+ Customer oriented along with the ability to work well in a team setting (required).

Pay Range is $16.33-$27.21
