Interns may be assigned to assist in providing computer software development, business analysis, data analytics and/or technical support for IT operations in Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis St. Paul, MN. You may support a variety of IT projects in a Business Analyst, Developer, Systems Engineer, or Data Analytic/BI type role which includes gathering requirements for development, design and testing of decision support systems or participation in the development, maintenance, enhancement and support of our software applications or infrastructure environments. Data analytics is used to create performance dashboards and service level agreements with various products. Interns working in Developer roles are given an opportunity to utilize various methods and technologies such as Java/JEE, JSON, Spring, Angular, Agile/DevOps delivery, API, JavaScript, C++ on Linux, Python, REST, XML, web services, HTML, Oracle and expanding mobile technologies. Some roles / responsibilities will be non-technical.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
· Be able to commit to working the entire 13 week summer internship program (May 2025 -August 2025)
· Be willing to work from the Atlanta or MSP office (as agreed upon during the interview). Most teams work a partially onsite / partially remote (hybrid) work schedule with management approval.
· Have a 2.5 GPA or higher and have completed at least 2 years in a college program, with degree emphasis in Computer Science, Software Development, Systems/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Cyber Security, Business Management, or a related field
· Ideal candidates have strong analytical, leadership, written and verbal communication skills
· Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles

· Have an interest in solving complex problems and investing the time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes
· Possess an awareness of agile methodologies, cloud computing, Software Dev Lifecycles, and/or PC hardware components and/or maintenance
· Be able to conduct yourself in a mature manner and be comfortable working in a business casual work attire environment
· Be interested in working for Delta Air Lines after graduation if presented with a full time job offer opportunity
