JOB OVERVIEW:
The Quality Intern will assist the Quality team and Plant team in updating documents and records and by conducting product inspections (raw, in process, and finished), communicating inspection deviations to all departments.

JOB OVERVIEW:
The Quality Intern will assist the Quality team and Plant team in updating documents and records and by conducting product inspections (raw, in process, and finished), communicating inspection deviations to all departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspection of products received in the stage of raw materials, products being processed, and finished products processed
- Assist the quality department and production team by being able to communicate deviations and inconsistencies in received raw material, in-process products, and finished products produced at the farm plant.
- Keep track of and enter data based on product inspections and send reports to the Quality team.
- Assist the quality team in creating internal product specifications based on product inspection reports.
- Assist the quality team in keeping an inventory of Quality supplies (swabs, test kits, etc.).
- Assist the quality team and production with finished product sample review and reporting.
- Assist with the SSOP review and make revisions as necessary
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Attention to detail and demonstrated time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative, resourcefulness, and strong interpersonal skills
- Have a curious, proactive and solution-oriented approach

EDUCATION:
- Upperclassman (incoming Junior or Senior) at an accredited College or University
- Desired Major(s): Quality, Data Analytics, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology
- Preferred Minimum GPA: 3.0
