We believe that empowering our people and helping them reach their full potential is essential for the long-term success of both Lumen and our customers. **Program dates:** May 30 - August 8, 2025. **Work Location** This position is fully remote/ work from home. **The Main Responsibilities** Lumen is seeking a Product Development Intern on the Product Development team. The intern will partners with Product Management to develop solutions to solve a customer's problem and market need. They will own operational readiness for the delivery space across our order life cycle model. This role is an active member identifying system requirements needs to be successful and drives working sessions to ensure the delivery teams can process the newly launched product. This requires a very disciplined approach to ensure key departments are operational ready. The intern will hold departments accountable for developing the necessary process, policy, and training material to set them up for success. After new products and services are sold and implemented, there are measures of success to monitor adoption and key performance indicators across the delivery process. Lumen takes immense pride in delivering a great customer experience and value their ongoing feedback. This role will be actively reviewing KPIs and feedback to determine if we need to enhance our model. **What We Look For in a Candidate** Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made. **Required qualifications:** + Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship + Graduating August 2025 - May 2026 + Preferred fields include but not limited to: Business, Marketing or related field + Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025) **Proficiency and understanding of:** + Product and project management + Excel, PowerPoint and Word, specifically related to successfully demonstrating project updates + Prior experience working within a technology company is a preferred + Planning and actioning multiple, complex programs including budget management + Demonstrated ability as a product or technology advocate, with the ability to collaborate **Preferred qualifications:** + Strong organizational, communication (oral and written) interpersonal, presentation, process / project management and teamwork skills + Passion for technology, a life-long approach to learning, and a collaborative nature that works with multiple resources to identify and develop valuable customer outcomes from highly technical inputs + Exhibits good business judgement with the ability to overcome obstacles and think strategically to solve business problems. + Agile, humble, trustworthy, and a team player + Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment + Passion for launching intuitive products that solve complex problems **Compensation** Internship compensation ranges depends on each individuals level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role. **Hourly Based Pay Range:** Min: $22.00/hour Max: $35.00/hour **Work Authorization** US work authorization required for role. This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
