ABOUT THE PROGRAM– Summer 2025 Internship

Expand your knowledge and skills while gaining hands-on professionalexperience
Engage with leaders throughout the organization and learn about the clean energy industry through weekly lunch-and-learns.
Visit our nearby power plants: Grand Ridge Energy Center and Nelson Energy Center
Spend a day giving back to the community with our ‘Volunteer Time Off’program

Attend a networking mixer to learn more about and engage with representatives from our various affinity groups (Women’s Network, LGBTQ+, Black & Brown, Veteran’s Network, & more!)

Our program takes place from June – August lasting for 10-12weeks
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Our Renewable Development teamhas the following responsibilities:
Takes chargeonidentifyingopportunitiesfor new wind and solar projects and advancing them through the development process.
Acting asanintegralpartin all stages of the development of a power plant including site identification, permitting,establishing interconnection positions and community engagement.
As an intern in Renewable Development,you’llexpand your organizational,interpersonaland writing skills to support Invenergy’s development efforts.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
Currentlyenrolled in a 4-yearBachelor’sdegree program with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and Summer 2026.
Majoring in Engineering,Businessor related discipline.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
