- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Management or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
- Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
- Highly developed interpersonal and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of investment casting manufacturing process a plus
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) proficiency
- Microsoft Power BI, or similar, competency
The Supply Chain Intern position will be located in our Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation in Whitehall, MI.
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Plant 3 team as Supply Chain Summer Intern. Primary responsibilities include:
- Projects working with Power BI
- Cost estimating and creating cost models to support business needs
The 2025 Summer Internship Program consists of 10-14 weeks of structured hands-on training involving plant tours, lunch & learn seminars, fun networking events to connect with fellow interns, and projects selected to add direct value to the business. At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present their projects to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors. An internship at Howmet Aerospace will provide an invaluable experience that you can utilize in any role, and it's Howmet's goal to evaluate our interns for potential entry-level openings.
