Responsibilities:- Assist in the development and execution of water distribution and wastewater system improvement plans, including identifying areas for upgrades or expansion.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design water and wastewater infrastructure projects, conduct hydraulic analysis, and prepare construction plans and specifications.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed engineering drawings and schematics for water distribution and wastewater projects.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, calculations, and correspondence with regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support various civil engineering projects within the Water District Team, contributing to the team's overall success and projects.
- High school diploma.
- Currently working toward a Bachelor or Master of Science in a civil or environmental engineering related curriculum in an ABET accredited university.
- Previous internship experience preferred.
