Your Role at Raising Cane’s:
Raising Cane’s offers internship opportunities across functional areas of restaurant operations and support. As an intern at Cane’s, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams on relevant project work. Over the course of our 10-week internship program you will have the opportunity to work directly with a mentor in your field of study while contirubting to supporting the growth of the company and building a professional network through work, events and program activities. Raising Cane’s internship opportunities are on-site at our Dallas Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TX.
The Culinary Intern will support the Culinary team by being involved in day-to-day project tasks while working alongside the Culinary team to support project work through execution scientific experiments, data collection, and preparation of labatory samples.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Supports Culinary initiatives by participating in project work
- Assists in execution of various components of and activities of assigned project(s)
- Provides relevant knowledge and insights from educational experiences and gains valuable knowledge and experience
- Participates in intern activities and development opportunities
Requirements for Success:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Culinary, Food or Animal Science
- 1+ years of volunteer or work experience in relevant field
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
- Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
- Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Able to travel within the local area to various restaurants and events
