Job Summary
Reporting to the Sales Desk Manager the Internal Relationship Consultant will support their account assignments from a strategic and operational perspective working closely with their external Regional Sale Director. This position provides pro-active support for assigned account relationships acting as key point of contact for the relationship
Essential Functions
• Act as main point of contact for assigned accounts for service and operational support and resolution in a timely manner and high-level professional manner
• Work closely with the New Business and Underwriting teams on trouble shooting new business, commission, underwriting, licensing, and client service issues that have been escalated from account, RSD, or Regional Wholesaler.
• Provide detailed responses to accounts of resolutions and track each communication using Salesforce
• Train accounts on new business processes
• Monitor and put in place with account plans for improvements with E-App usage, NIGO, Placement Rates, etc.
• Coordinate responses on due diligence and RFP requests
• Drive strategic initiatives & tactics within assigned relationships: small incentive programs, awareness campaigns, product launch activities, onboarding
• Provide both proactive and reactive support for RSD(s): meeting follow-up, territory management activities, marketing initiatives
• Stay up-to-date on industry and competitive knowledge. Able to pivot to different solutions based on Need. Understands products and competitors, and where they fit in the marketplace.
• Effective at building relationships with distribution partners, and maintaining those partnerships
• Skilled at scheduling, creating , delivering and following up on webinars
• Meet or exceeds metrics assigned to the role
• Perform other duties as assigned.
