Through collaboration and partnership with key stakeholders across the organization, theInternal Communications Manager unifies corporate communications standards and guildlines for daily business operations, major organizational changes, and new initiatives. The Internal Communications Manager plays a critical role in driving efficient information flow while making decisions on creative direction with GreenState's goals and values as the foundational guides. Through their knowledge of best practices in corporate communications methodology and technology, they design and develop cohesive communication approaches to meet the evolving needs of our diverse workforce. Salary range for this position is $119,078.70 - $159,375.58 with a progressive benefit package. ResponsibilitiesPerforms essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.Ensures confidentiality of member information.Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.Collaborates and consults with key stakeholders to develop and execute communications strategies that support team engagement and alignment to the organizational mission, vision, values, strategy and brand.Oversees, manages and coordinates company correspondence, content, and messaging.Implement processes, strategies, and activities to manage the flow of information within the organization while monitoring the efficiency of the communication processes.Oversees all day-to-day internal communication platforms such as Town Halls and other live events, company-wide emails from leadership and longer-term projects.Writes and creates relevant, thoughtful and effective content that informs, inspires and unites our growing and diverse workforce.Creates and executes a corporate communications plan to consistently build positive awareness and ensures that all materials present a clear, unified and positive message for the organization.Assists stakeholders with content creation and ensures that matters are presented accurately and effectively convey the messages from CEO and management.Partners with key stakeholders with content creation, development, design and communication delivery for announcements, messages, internal news updates, corporate and departmental newsletters, etc., to ensure alignment to company values, goals and internal brand.Manages GreenState's evolving suite of internal communication channels and tools, while maintaining awareness of trends in communication platforms for consideration as part of the internal communications mix (i.e. video, social, etc.). Collaborates with organizational effectiveness and marketing teams to develop innovative content tools (videos, podcasts, blogs, etc.) for the intranet that will inform, engage and excite employees while ensuring alignment with brand between internal and external messaging.Acts as the internal communications point person for all major internal announcements.Helps as part of a broader team to deliver strong employee experience initiatives to drive engagement and inclusion for all employees.Creates content for employee forums, clearly communicating the organization's vision, priorities and how employees contribute to the collective success of GreenState.Oversee all day-to-day internal communication platforms such as Town Halls and other live events, company-wide emails from leadership and longer-term projectsProvide counsel on the need for and composes draft announcements, speeches and presentations for senior management and assists with finalization and execution of delivery methods.Establishes user and engagement metrics, manages the collection and reporting of Internal Communications metrics and make appropriate recommendations for how to meet or exceedgoals.With all projects, the individual will maintain focus on the Credit Union's objectives and strategic priorities.Build an internal communications team as the needs of the organization continue to evolve.QualificationsFour-year college degree in Journalism or Communications, or related field required, or equivalent experience.Five-to-seven years of related experience (preferably for a financial institution) writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.Extensive experience with writing professional communications. Excellent organization and project management skills with proven ability to oversee and direct several projects at once.Ability to create and translate editorial content into a visually appealing finished product, with graphic and multimedia components as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and provide appropriate communications solutions and compelling messaging for a variety of audiences and channels.Outstanding oral and written communication skills.Ability to coordinate and prioritize large, detailed project requirements and schedules.Able to work as part of a team and work independently on own initiativeEnergetic and delivery focused with creative orientationAble to build trust and maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.Attention to detail, and high scanning accuracy with special emphasis on proof reading and layout review.Strong interpersonal skills required for Credit Union communications.Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs, including the Microsoft Office application suite.Ability and willingness to work additional hours as demanded by the workload and the Credit Union's rapidly changing competitive environment.Attention to detail, and high scanning accuracy with special emphasis on proof reading and layout review.Strong interpersonal skills required for Credit Union communications.Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs, including the Microsoft Office application suite.Ability and willingness to work additional hours as demanded by the workload and the Credit Union's rapidly changing competitive environment.Must be bondable.Reporting RelationshipReports to the Chief People Officer.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for the supervision of others.Equal Opportunity Employment StatementGreenState Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
