Amare is seeking an experienced International HR Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This person will play a pivotal role in supporting Amare Global's international workforce. This position involves developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's global objectives while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations throughout all international markets including Canada, LatAm, EMEA, and APAC. The role includes talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and driving initiatives to enhance employee engagement across various countries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's international goals.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes for international positions.
- Serve as a point of contact for international employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and employment issues.
- Collaborate with local management to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in each country.
- Implement performance management systems to support employee development and retention.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and company culture globally.
- Manage employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts effectively.
- Analyze HR metrics and reporting to inform decision-making.
- Support training and development programs for international teams.
- Facilitate communication between headquarters and international offices regarding HR-related matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, especially in an international context.
- Strong knowledge of international employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in talent acquisition and employee relations in a global setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret HR metrics.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally as required by the role.
