International Regulatory Director – Dietary Supplements, Skincare & Homecare

Purpose of the Role
The International Regulatory Director will serve as the lead person responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance in all International markets, including the USA, for NeoLife's Dietary Supplements, Food products, Homecare products and Skincare line. This person will supervise an International Regulatory team and proactively stay ahead of all regulatory issues that arise in each country. The International Regulatory Director is responsible for registering new and existing products in different countries and adhering to the regulatory practices of each country.
This position is a member of the International Product, Science and Technology Team, with specific responsibility for collecting and interpreting all regulatory related documents and
responding to the needs of the international community in a timely and professional manner.
Other key responsibility include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities • Works with Product Development, Marketing, Quality, and Operations teams in disseminating relevant regulatory information having to do with new, renovated, and existing products • Conducts international regulatory pathway assessment for new products • Leads regulatory submission deliverables, provides timelines, and authors registration dossier documents for NeoLife products • Reviews Product Labels for accuracy • Collaborates with cross-functional teams for new and renovated product development • Provides regulatory solutions to execute successful product launches • Assists Nutrition Scientist on USA product substantiations • Reviews marketing collateral, web content, literature, blogs from an FDA, FTC and NAD perspective and identifies risks based on the current regulatory environment and feedback from outside counsel • Takes the lead in identifying and solving key regulatory issues and guides the organization toward maintaining compliance in all relevant international markets • Works with outside counsel on USA product claims, supplement facts, and nutrition facts • Works with international partners for claims and proper labeling of products • Trains other regulatory staff in day-to-day regulatory functions and helps to expand their regulatory knowledge Competencies for Success • Intimate knowledge of DSHEA, FDA regulations 21CFR 100s, as well as FTC and NAD guidelines • International Regulatory experience with Europe and Africa and other international markets • Experience in identifying business risk-based issues to alert supervisor and CEO/COO • Systematic approach to problem-solving • Ability to think outside the box • Solution-oriented • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Transparent, open communicator • Must be detail oriented • Nimble, flexible mindset • Friendly, patient personality • Must be able to work under pressure • Enjoys continually learning and growing professionally Measures of Success • Creates and meets deliverable deadlines • Receives favorable inter- and intradepartmental feedback from coworkers • Excellent relationships with external partners Education & Experience • B.S. in Science related field. • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in an International Regulatory role • Regulatory Affairs Certification a plus Physical Demands & Work Environment: The physical demands and the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $165,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
