International Tax Manager - Northwest Talent Solutions LLC

Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading advisory, tax and assurance firm to recruit an International Tax Manager specializing in Private Wealth. Our client provides professional services through an alternative practice structure in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Job Summary

Join a growing International Tax practice as an International Tax Manager with the Private Wealth team. You'll be part of a borderless team addressing pressing issues for global clients, advising on U.S.-based and local country matters including international tax compliance, planning and structuring, cross-border transactions, and global mobility for high net worth individuals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals and families
• Review complex tax returns and analyze international holdings for disclosure purposes
• Deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting
• Manage engagements and projects to meet deadlines
• Develop compliance and planning tools for international taxpayers
• Manage, supervise, and train staff
• Contribute to practice development and business innovation
• Participate in recruiting activities

Qualifications:

I. Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• CPA, JD, or EA required

II. Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in professional services providing tax services to high net worth individuals
• 1+ year of supervisory experience
• Prior experience with international tax compliance and planning

III. License(s)/Certification(s):

• CPA, JD, or EA certification required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent project management and time management abilities
• Advanced knowledge of international tax regulations and practices
• Strong tax research and professional writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
