Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' neurological status, including cognitive function, motor skills, and sensory perception.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments, including those for conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
- Monitor patients for neurological changes and complications.
- Educate patients and families about neurological conditions and their management.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as lumbar punctures and electroencephalograms.
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of neurology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
