InternCoOp NonLDP Int - PAT - Johnson and Johnson
Malvern, PA 19355
About the Job
PAT enables rapid data collection and analysis for key process parameters with the goal of understanding and optimization or bioprocess, leading to advanced bioprocess control. It is directly linked to the identification and implementation of relevant in-situ sensors, real-time analytical instrumentation, automation, and multivariate data analysis. We are seeking a highly motivated co-op student to contribute to build on our diverse technologies to facilitate our pipeline and support clinical studies.
Do you want to learn how innovative technologies are implemented in BioPharma? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to apply science and engineering to advanced analytics in PAT. The student will work as part of a distributed team but primarily responsible for preparing and handling samples, designing, and testing of compositional variance of complex biological sources, optimizing PAT models to increase accuracy and robustness. The strategy: focus and/or drive a systematic approach to extract much more characteristic molecular fingerprints to build better process models and methods for various bioreaction desirable levels. The chosen candidate will benefit by learning new skills and interacting with a global workforce and culture. You will gain experience and understanding of the biologic's development process at the same time building the future for how we apply PAT tools to pave the way toward the next generation of digital biomanufacturing. We look forward to receiving your application! Qualifications:
- Working toward B.S. or graduate degree in a core science, biochemistry, biotechnology, bioengineering or a related disciplining is required.
- Appropriate education and training in operation of combined analytical tools such as absorption, fluorescence, vibrational spectroscopy, and biological analysis. spectroscopic interpretation and evaluation are preferred.
- Experience in chemometric modeling tools MATLAB, Unscrambler or SIMCA for multivariate data analysis. P roficiency with one or more programming language such as MATLAB, Python or R for machine and deep learning is required.
- Proven written and oral communication skills a must.
- Candidates must be motivated, highly organized, and able to lead multiple tasks.
- Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team.
