Internship - Moore's Electrical & Mechanical

Moore's is seeking qualified interns to join our Operations Team at our corporate offices in Altavista, VA. We are hiring for multiple full-time, paid position over 9 weeks in Summer 2025 to gain hands-on experience in various areas of construction management, engineering, or business administration/managment.

This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of construction management.

Responsibilities

• The intern's responsibilities will differ depending on departments hired in. These positions could be:
  • Project Management
  • Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
  • Business Administration/Management
• Responsibilities will be catered to the intern's desired experience

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management
• Successful completion of two years of study in-major coursework
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset
• Desire to learn and grow
• Transportation and ability to commute to the Altavista Offices
• Great sense of humor
