Internship - Food and Beverage - The Vanderbilt

Inspired by the insatiable wanderlust and rebellious spirit of Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, the historic downtown mansion once owned by the businessman and scion has been reinterpreted for the modern era as a lively and stylish social destination. The Auberge Resorts internship program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to the world of luxury hospitality. As a 12 week training and development program, you will have the opportunity to begin your career the same way that many of our Auberge leaders began their hospitality journey. 

The program consists of work experience and professional development opportunities that are intended to prepare you for postgraduate opportunities. 

Role Specific Information 

• Food and Beverage 
  • Work alongside culinary and service teams to understand the operations of our fine dining restaurants and banquet services. 
  • Assist in menu planning, event coordination, and maintaining high service standards.
  • Support day-to-day restaurant activities, including table set-up, reservations, and guest services.
  • Interact with guests, gather feedback, and assist in addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
  • Learn to anticipate and exceed guest expectations in a luxury dining environment.

  • Based on performance and completion of all internship program components, the intern will have priority placement in the Management Development Program upon earning their hospitality degree (MDP placements based on availability and willingness to relocate).
