ABOUT SUMMER 2024 INTERNSHIPS
The Kendo Brands Summer Internship is a paid 10 week Program focusing on an assigned project while being introduced to and fully integrated into the daily activities of your team. For Summer 2024, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco Office. Interns will work from home every Monday and Friday, and will come into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Interns will get the opportunity to explore a department and learn about developing a career at a beauty brand incubator. Our program will include exposure to senior leadership, networking opportunities, and regular check ins on internship status. Interns will also get an opportunity to learn more about LVMH and how Kendo fits into the LVMH family.
Applications for the 2024 Internship Program will be open from February 8th to February 23rd. Salary for all internships will be $23/hour. Qualified Candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or 2024 graduates of an accredited college or university. You must be legally authorized to work in the US and able to work 3 days a week in our downtown San Francisco Office. Candidates must be able to work either June 3rd to August 16th or June 24th to September 6th.
SUMMARY
As an Influencer Marketing Intern at KVD Beauty, you will immerse yourself in the captivating
realm of Influencer Marketing, contributing to our mission of promoting artistic self-expression
and limitless creativity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Influencer Collaboration: Collaborate with influencers to create compelling content that resonates with our brand's commitment to high-performance and artistic self-expression.
- Content Strategy and Influencer Data Integration: Contribute to the development of strategic content plans for influencer marketing campaigns by incorporating insights gathered from influencer marketing software. Ensure that content plans align seamlessly with KVD Beauty's values, leveraging data-driven decision-making to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Influencer Gifting and Influencer Discovery: Spearhead influencer gifting initiatives, meticulously curating personalized packages that resonate with the Gen-Z audience. Conduct thorough influencer discovery within the Gen-Z demographic, identifying rising stars and authentic voices that align with KVD Beauty's values. Build comprehensive gifting lists by ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and influencer profiles. Foster meaningful relationships through strategic gifting, including office send-outs, to enhance brand visibility and foster genuine connections with influencers who authentically embody the brand's ethos.
- Organizing Inventory and Product Knowledge: Take charge of organizing inventory for influencer gifting, maintaining accurate records of product stock and ensuring timely restocking, including that for the product closet. Develop a deep understanding of KVD Beauty's product line and key features, enabling effective communication with influencers and enhancing overall product knowledge within the team.
- Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend incorporating relevant trends into influencer marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative, fostering alignment and synergy in influencer marketing efforts.
- Presentation Design: Utilize Canva to design visually appealing and engaging presentations for influencer marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and guidelines.
- Visual Storytelling: Transform data and insights into compelling visual narratives, making complex information accessible and impactful for internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- Exceptional knowledge of current beauty and influencer trends
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Passion for beauty/cosmetics
- Ability to support multiple projects and problem-solve in a deadline intensive environment
- Be a rising Junior, Senior, or 2024 graduate with experience relating to Influencer Marketing/Social/PR
- Must be able to work from the San Francisco Bay Area Office
