ABOUT SUMMER 2024 INTERNSHIPS
The Kendo Brands Summer Internship is a paid 10 week Program focusing on an assigned project while being introduced to and fully integrated into the daily activities of your team. For Summer 2024, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco Office. Interns will work from home every Monday and Friday, and will come into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Interns will get the opportunity to explore a department and learn about developing a career at a beauty brand incubator. Our program will include exposure to senior leadership, networking opportunities, and regular check ins on internship status. Interns will also get an opportunity to learn more about LVMH and how Kendo fits into the LVMH family.
Applications for the 2024 Internship Program will be open from February 8th to February 23rd. Salary for all internships will be $23/hour. Qualified Candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or 2024 graduates of an accredited college or university. You must be legally authorized to work in the US and able to work 3 days a week in our downtown San Francisco Office. Candidates must be able to work either June 3rd to August 16th or June 24th to September 6th.
SUMMARY
This Materials Management Intern position will collaborate with internal partners and vendors to deliver on time and Kendo quality product. Monitor, track, and problem solve to support new product launches, replenishments, supply chain performance goals, as well as company's growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, manage and close purchase order of assigned packaging categories to meet production requirements.
- Proactively managing materials supply issues, and escalate to business when necessary.
- Key contact for vendors and implement key Kendo supply chain initiatives.
- Optimize inventory levels by leveraging AX ERP system settings.
- Executing safety stock strategies in AX.
- Analyze and update BOM settings for material change.
- Partner with 1 or 2 Suppliers to identify and improve inventory accuracy (Inventory reconciliation, Identification of Scrap rate discrepancies).
- Help with the IT transition of reports/dashboards (update and creation).
- Create an onboarding SOP dedicated to materials operations for new employee.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently working on completion of Bachelor's degree in related field (Supply Chain)
- Basic Excel skills required (V-lookups, pivot tables, and formula entry a must)
- Strong analytical, critical thinking
- Strong attention to detail a must
- Able to professionally communicate clearly: verbally and written
