ABOUT SUMMER 2024 INTERNSHIPS
The Kendo Brands Summer Internship is a paid 10 week Program focusing on an assigned project while being introduced to and fully integrated into the daily activities of your team. For Summer 2024, our program will be hybrid from our downtown San Francisco Office. Interns will work from home every Monday and Friday, and will come into the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Interns will get the opportunity to explore a department and learn about developing a career at a beauty brand incubator. Our program will include exposure to senior leadership, networking opportunities, and regular check ins on internship status. Interns will also get an opportunity to learn more about LVMH and how Kendo fits into the LVMH family.
Applications for the 2024 Internship Program will be open from February 8th to February 23rd. Salary for all internships will be $23/hour. Qualified Candidates must be rising juniors, seniors, or 2024 graduates of an accredited college or university. You must be legally authorized to work in the US and able to work 3 days a week in our downtown San Francisco Office. Candidates must be able to work either June 3rd to August 16th or June 24th to September 6th.

The Packaging Design & Production Intern will be responsible for assisting the team in packaging efforts and is the stepping stone to a career in packaging development. This role is fundamental to the fun, creative, and exciting world of creating new and innovative beauty products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide general support to the packaging team
- Assist in the refinement of packaging concepts and development of production art
- Work with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with multiple team players including: engineers, project managers, designers, marketers, and production artists as you increase your process understanding and communication skills
- Gather and prep product comps for meetings and presentations
- Track project status/progress
- Research competitive landscape and maintain benchmarks
- Learn best processes for file creation and print production
- Develop new and revise existing files for proper print production
- Assist in layout development and implementation of brand standards
- Learn about the process of making match prints and comping
- Learn color correction techniques and assist with sample reviews
- Additional projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate May 2024
- Passionate about packaging with an interest in makeup/beauty
- Efficiency is your motto - exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop & Illustrator
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem solving and analytical skills; keen attention to detail
- Thrives in a fast-paced, often-changing, startup environment
- Flexible and positive attitude; able to work independently and within teams
