WHAT IS THE ROLE OF MARKETING AT GENERAL MILLS?

The role of Marketing at General Mills is to deliver meaningful connections through remarkable experiences that grow our brands, servicing the business and consumers we serve. These integrated brand experiences include: promotions, social media, licensing, partnerships, customer promotion marketing and more.

WHAT WILL I DO? 

As a member of the General Mills Marketing team you will not only receive exposure to the consumer products industry, you’ll learn how to build effective integrated marketing campaigns and stronger brand equities. By acting as a key liaison between Marketing, Sales, internal and external partners and agencies, you’ll develop a broad network of effective working relationships all while working on the world’s best-loved brands.

• Collaborating with your Manager and Business Teams to develop integrated marketing plans consistent with overall brand marketing objectives.
• Be challenged to recognize opportunities and generate new creative ideas that have a positive impact on the business.
• Assist in coordinating, developing, and executing integrated marketing program communications and materials.
• Exhibit curiosity and a desire to learn, adapting to ambiguating and seeking continuous improvement and growth.

Interns will experience a robust 10-week program leading business critical projects.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour. At General Mills we strive for each employee’s pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences and skills for their role. The pay for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decision including, but not limited to, educational degree in process, major of study and year in school.
