Renown Healthis northern Nevada’s largest locally owned, not-for-profit integrated health network.  Affiliated with the University of Nevada, Reno School Medicine, the Renown Institute for Heart and Vascular Health offers opportunities in research, teaching, and other scholarly activities.  You can expect a highly supportive stable leadership team committed to providing resources to keep patients as the center focus of care.  Our nationally ranked cardiology program is Best in the State of Nevada for MI/CHF care.  We are seeking a BE/BC Interventional Peripheral Cardiologist to join our Institute for Heart & Vascular Health and physician-led, dynamic medical group with 550 employed providers.  Based in Reno, Renown Health serves northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe and northeastern California and is the region's only Level II trauma center between Sacramento, CA and Salt Lake City, UT, serving a population of over 1 million patients.

Position Details: 

• Peripheral fellowship or experience required.
• Position involves development and growth of comprehensive peripheral vascular treatment program alongside 3 employed vascular surgeons, 3 vascular medicine trained physicians, and team of 5 vascular medicine APPs and 3 employed cardiothoracic surgeons. 
• The fully integrated Cardiovascular Service Line includes nineteen (19) physicians, including 5 interventionalists, three (3) Electrophysiologists, and thirteen (13) Advanced Practitioners
• 9-weeks leave (all-inclusive)
• 14 General calls a year with post call days off. 
• 1:6 interventional call. 
• Group with >700 PCIs a year. Total of 6 cath labs by November 2024. Strong cath lab leadership and supply chain cooperation.  
• Full-time employed position with Renown’s Institute for Heart & Vascular Health
