Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures on-site, including but not limited to biopsies, ablations, embolizations, and vascular access.
- Provide diagnostic radiology interpretations remotely, as required, in areas such as CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray.
- Collaborate with referring physicians, nursing staff, and radiology technologists to ensure high-quality patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in interventional case planning, documentation, and follow-up with patients.
- Review and interpret imaging studies while adhering to best practices and quality standards.
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by the department.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Interventional Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.
- Fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology preferred.
- Active medical license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
- Proficiency with interventional procedures and demonstrated diagnostic interpretation skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
