In this role you will:
- Coordinate and schedule interventional radiology procedures, including imaging and biopsies, in collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.
- Obtain prior imaging results for review as needed to support upcoming procedures.
- Prepare patients for outpatient procedures, ensuring sedation/anesthesia protocols are followed.
- Obtain medical and/or cardiac clearances from primary care providers (PCP) or specialists when required.
- Schedule new patient consultations, follow-up surveillance imaging, and physician appointments as needed, ensuring seamless patient care and minimal delays.
- Serve as the point of contact for patients, providing clear communication regarding procedure preparation.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to facilitate timely care delivery.
We require:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Interventional Radiology experience is required.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and scheduling software.
