SALARY: $27.21 - $42.99/HR
- Additional $5.00/HR for every shift until 04/01/2023
BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Provide advanced imaging services to patients for both vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures with departmental expectations met and sustained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Set up for procedures including room preparation, table set-up, and sterile technique. Scrub in during cases to assist the attending physician during the procedures while circulating the room. Complete billing documentation and supply management requirements. Preview films obtained for quality, post-process images as needed and ensure images are verified and saved into PACS. Provide exemplary care to our patients while maintaining the Culture of Yes values of Care, Deliver, Innovate, and Serve. Maintain current certifications and licensure status. Understand time clock expectations and adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines. Ensure confidentiality of all patient information is maintained. May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
General supervision received from the Director, Manager, and Supervisor of Radiology
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Supervision over Student Tech Assistants and Students performing clinical rotations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
ARRT certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV), or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI) certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
