Exciting Opportunities are available in our Radiology & Imaging Services Department featuring:

• The SMH-Venice Radiology Department offers inpatient and outpatient imaging, including MRI, CT scans, fluoroscopy, and X-rays.
• It also features 2 nuclear medicine suites, stress testing and a bi-plane interventional radiology suite.
• Breast health services include ultrasound and bone density testing, 3D mammography and a stereotactic biopsy suite.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

In this role, the Interventional Radiology Tech, Registered, works under the direction of a Radiologist, to perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. You will be responsible form performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative and to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention.  You will assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Required License, Certs and Qualifications:

• Require Registered Tech Radiology - Interventional certification.
• ARRT: Amer Reg Rad Technologist
• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
