Inventory Analyst/Planning Coordinator - The Fountain Group

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Inventory Analyst for a prominent client of ours.  This position is based in Austin, TX. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Pay: $27-$29 /hr to start!
• 12-month assignment with possibility for extension based on performance and budget.
• Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm Onsite!
• Position will mainly be responsible for managing daily inventory, shipping and invoice reports while working with supply chain to manage inventory levels and distribution in the warehouse to ensure inventory is moved in a timely manner and in compliance to process RMA(s), RTV(s) and rework as it pertains to distribution centers.
• Position will also be responsible for working with customer service on potential back-order inventory and resolutions while monitoring intercompany inventory transfers and execution.
• Additional responsibilities include monitoring daily inventory levels in IFS and SAP to review orders and move inventory from IFS to SAP.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree is Preferred.
• Experience in the supply chain and/or distribution is Required.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel, especially VLOOKUP, to pull inventory reports is Required.
• 2+ Years of experience including hands-on technician roles or internship with an inventory background is Preferred.
• Experience as a reliability engineer or mechanical engineer background is Preferred.
