EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Preferred minimum of one year warehouse, distribution, and logistics
experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent; some college preferred.
TRAINING REQUIRED: Forklift safety training and certification. Shipping procedures and
documentation. Receiving procedures and documentation.
BASIC ABILITIES: Good communication, organizational, interpersonal, phone and computer
skills are a must.
JOB BRIEF: Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager/Assistant Manager. The Inventory
Control Coordinator (ICC) job duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Directly responsible for monitoring and reporting the inventory levels and
inventory accuracy in accordance with established company policy for their
specific location.
2. Daily evaluation/reporting of facility inventory accuracy through verified cycle counts.
3. Responsible to identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies in an expedient
manner.
4. Reports any/all discrepancies to management so that corrective actions can be
made to prevent additional or similar issues in the future.
5. Responsible for working with designated accounting department representative and
others to identify and facilitate the efficient liquidation of Slow Moving and Obsolete
inventory and efficiently process all open return materials/return orders to
effectively minimize the cycle time, within defined Company guidelines.
6. Work with management to ensure each person and/or department fulfils their
specific responsibilities within the inventory management system. Whenever
inventory process issues arise the ICC will be required to initiate corrective
measures.
7. Work with warehouse manager to ensure effective training of all warehouse
employees in support of the inventory management system.
