Responsibilities
KRA: Maintain Compliant and Competitive Dealership Inventory Management:
- Order and build optimal cars from the manufacturer in line with current needs.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers/GSM/GM and Sales people as to what is desirable currently in the market and what opportunities there are to maximize the Sales depts. success through inventory management.
- Dealer trade cars with other dealerships to facilitate the success of the Sales Dept. and its inventory.
- Review deals from Finance to assist the GM in compliance requirements for the Sales and Finance dept.
- Assist the Sales manager and GSM in all aspects of paperwork and deal flow from the Sales office to Finance so that Guest waiting and mistakes are minimized.
- Assist the sales management in achieving all Sales goals and MBZ requirements such as Net promotor scores and MMC activation with the goal of achieving “Best of the Best award” yearly.
KRA: Effectively and Efficiently Manages Vehicle Inventory and Stocking Processes:
- Manages and controls an acceptable daily supply of vehicle inventory.
- Ensures all vehicles are stocked properly and that vehicles are tracked appropriately through the
reconditioning process.
- Ensures all new car vehicles have been pre-delivery inspected by the service department as well as
fully detailed and showroom ready.
- Manages and updates all new/used vehicle inventory as needed.
- Maintains a smooth and timely workflow of all used vehicles through the reconditioning stage.
- Performs Quality checks to ensure vehicles meet our standards.
KRA: Assists Management in Department Coordination
- Maintains a smooth and timely workflow of all used vehicles through the reconditioning stage.

- Manages direction and scheduling of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing at all times.
- Ensures that dealership policies and procedures are followed by salespeople.
- Supervise Receptionists: maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude to our guests among the receptionists. Monitor schedules and coverage. Report to GM/GSM any issues or obstacles to success.
KRA: Build Effective Internal and External Client Relations/Retention:
- Develops, implements a strong “Client-Centric” vision and utilizes “The Rusnak Standard,” best core practices, as well as professional and exemplary service to ensure that every internal and external Client of the dealership has an extraordinary experience during every encounter.
- Actively listen and communicate, verbally and in writing, in a courteous, professional, clear, concise, and correct manner to identify Client needs beyond expressed concerns, and develops projects and campaigns aimed at meeting these identified needs.
- Responds in a timely, courteous, and professional manner with a “consultative, value-added” approach to secure Client understanding and develop a stronger business relationship and future business.

Qualifications
- Desired: Minimum of 5 years in position of Inventory Control Manager or similar positions in Automotive retail, industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; at least 5 years retail related experience.
- Strong or Good verbal and written communication skills.
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
- Required: Current California Sales License.
