Our growing company is seeking to hire a Inventory Records Specialist at our Beaver Dam, WI facility. As an employee at MEC, you will coordinate activities of Inventory Records Specialists and Cycle Counter. Reviews discrepancies, performs root cause analysis and assissts in executing resulting inventory adjustments. Provides support as needed.
A role like this comes with some important responsibilities, some of those responsibilities include:
- Communicates potential solutions and error proofing ideas to Materials Manager, information Systems, and shop supervisors.
- Train new material handlers on plant scanning systems and load tickets.
- Train inventory personnel at all plants on proper transaction procedures.
- Hold periodic meetings to inform material handlers of scanning system changes, inventory location changes, and any other information that applies to them.
- Execute scrapping of parts through Obsolescence Program and as requested by others.
- Perform job closings and work in process (WIPS) maintenance.
- Provides Material Manager with end of month data related to Cycle Counts, Load to Location Audits and Scrap.
- Supports all inventory rack location projects.
- Perform inventory transactions as needed.
- Special Projects as assigned by Materials Manager.

What Does It Take to Be a Fit for This Role?
- Ideally, we are looking for candidates with an Associate’s degree, or equivalent from a two-year. College or Technical school; or a minimum of one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Someone that has a inventory experience is preferred.
