PAY: $18.50/hr.
HOURS: 7AM - 330PM (Mon - Fri)
SUMMARY:
- Subject matter expert for inventory control and front office functions within the Distribution Centers, ERP, and WMS.
- Develop, revise, and maintain Inventory Control work instructions. Communicates updates or changes to the DCs or applicable groups.
- Monitors daily transaction errors and provides root cause.
- Coordinates quarterly ERP/WMS sync and reconciliation efforts.
- Verify receiving transactions and exception reports while maintaining accurate records in an exceptions database.
- SME on DC-related CRM activities and communications.
- Communicates with suppliers to resolve material discrepancies and invoice disputes.
- Work daily exception reports in the system ERP updating transaction errors.
- Performs other duties as requested by the Operations Manager.
- Adhere to, promote, and accept responsibility for compliance to Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, Industry Consensus Standards, and KGP Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual.
- Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Requires demonstrated ability to learn and understand basic mathematical processes.
- Must have ability to learn to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.
- Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- No major critical thinking required. Work follows established job aids and business rules.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
