Inventory Control Specialist
Employment Type: Part-Time
Hours: Approximately 24 to 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $20-$25 an hour (dependent on experience)
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for conducting accurate and detailed cycle counts of our inventory and fixed assets. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our inventory records and ensuring efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Cycle Counts: Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items, following established procedures and guidelines.

Data Entry: Accurately enter cycle count data into spreadsheets and our inventory tracking system.

Inventory Management: Assist with other inventory management tasks, such as breaking down boxes from shipments and packing orders.

Data Analysis: Analyze cycle count data to identify discrepancies and trends.

Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to inventory management processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in using spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and inventory management systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical ability to lift and move inventory items

Experience in inventory management or a related field is preferred
Working Conditions:

Work in a warehouse or stockroom environment

May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting
