Inventory Control Specialist
Responsibilities
- This is a multifunctional role entailing various Receiving, Warehousing, and Inventory control responsibilities.
- Have a strong base knowledge of Warehousing and Receiving functions highly desired.
- Comfortable with various PC functions such as Word, Excel, and experience with an ERP system
- Monitor inventory levels in CETEC and auditing with physical counts. Cycle Count inventory parts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels and verification that picking and issuing of materials processes are in control. Where inventory accuracy is deviating, report issues to the Warehouse Manager and help in the fixing of issues.
- Ability to learn all the Honeycomb Work Instructions for the Receiving & Warehouse area and be able to perform the various functions proficiently within a six-month period.
- Provide their internal customers with correct products and services, on time.
- Operate forklift, truck, to unload or distribute materials.
- Move raw materials to warehouse storage with adherence to shelf life.
- Maintain material inventory.
- Ensure work areas are clean and free from Foreign Object Debris.
- Perform warehouse operations including receiving material, storing, picking, packing, kitting, and issuing processes and integrating with internal supplier (Purchasing) and customer (Production).
- Ensure material shelf-life and levels are monitored with issuance of timely depletion alerts to internal suppliers and customers.
- Properly pull and store production tooling in a safe manner that will ensure tooling will be free of damage.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager on projects as directed.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Word, Excel experience
- 2 years' experience of an ERP system
- 2-years of Warehouse and Ship/Receiving experience
- Forklift experience
- Security Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the US. If required possess the ability to pass the Defense National Agency Check IAW DoDD 5200.2

Hourly rate: $20. Onsite only. Hours: 7:00am-330pm. Occasional overtime
Physical Demands / ADA Compliance
The employee may be required to stand for a full shift while wearing PPE. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Correctable vision to 20/20 with full depth perception. Ability to pass DOT Drug Testing requirements (49 CFR Part 40).
