To help accomplish this mission, we are searching for Inventory control specialist responsible for receiving inventory items, verifying incoming products, stock inventory, and distributing and replenishing production as needed. Experience with various types of material handling equipment, including a sit-down forklift. In addition, depending on facility placement candidate will also be expected to drive the company’s non-CDL 24’ box truck and have the appropriate license. There will be split time between driving duties and warehouse duties.
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory records, facilitating procurement processes, and supporting supply chain management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of logistics operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Duties
- Data entry of part location stored in the warehouse into an ERP system.
- Receive customer product electronically in the ERP system.
- Perform necessary shipping duties to meet customer deliveries, paperwork, AMZ vehicles, LTL or Parcel
- Contact the customer when needed to inform parts are ready for pickup.
- Complete necessary transactions on customer’s web site (portal)
- Read and interpret drawings and understand specification requirements.
- Understand the production schedule and be able to properly pull items for production work orders.
- Ability to operate a forklift and perform other material handling as needed.
- Maintain traceability of parts and perform data entry into the ERP system.
- Understand and process internal job packets, receipt to billing.
- Store/warehouse parts with a forklift using a bin location racking system.
- Able to drive company non-CDL straight trucks (24’ to 26’)
Requirements
- Forklift/Box truck experience
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
