Job Summary: Hardware Store- Howard, Wisconsin
As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the
inventory management processes within our store. You will ensure that our
inventory levels are optimized, products are stocked efficiently, and any
discrepancies are resolved promptly. Your role is crucial in maintaining the
balance between supply and demand, and in supporting our store’s operational
efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal
stock availability and minimizing overstock situations.
Stock Replenishment: Coordinate with suppliers to reorder products and
ensure timely delivery of stock.
Stock Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and
resolve any discrepancies.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate inventory records in our management system,
including updating product information and quantities.
Reporting: Prepare and present inventory reports to store management, highlighting
trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Customer Service: Assist customers with inventory-related inquiries and special
orders.
Organization: Ensure that the inventory storage areas are organized and that products
are stored properly to prevent damage or loss.
Collaboration: Work closely with other store departments to support sales efforts and
promotions.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or
hardware store environment.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to
handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical: Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer
applications.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve
inventory-related issues.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification
in inventory management is a plus.
