Inventory Cycle Counter - Spherion

As a Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records within a distribution warehouse. Your role involves conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring inventory data integrity to support efficient warehouse operations. This role REQUIRES at least 1 year of Inventory experience in a warehouse setting as well as forklift experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine cycle counts according to a pre-determined schedule.
- Verify inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Ensure accurate documentation of counts and adjustments.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
- Provide floor support to Operation Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.

Working hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Skills:
- Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- H.S. diploma/GED preferred
- One (1) year or more previous warehouse inventory experience preferred
- One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
- One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
