Inventory Manager - RTO National

About the Job
The key responsibility of the Inventory Manager is to manage the day-to-day operations of RTON inventory and a team of Recovery Specialists. This will include daily verification through phone calls, virtual meetings, coordinating onsite accountability visits with remote staff, and partnering with dealers and Regional Sales Managers to liquidate inventory. A key responsibility is to identify potential asset losses while determining solutions to minimize risk.
The Ideal Candidate will:
- Establish a regular cadence to verify current inventory and leased assets, ensure accuracy in tracking company assets, and communicate updates proactively to Sales and Dealer partners
- Keep a clear, organized, and concise record of assets and have reports readily available
- Conduct routine review of inventory reports to ensure consistency and accuracy. Providing data-driven insights to senior management to inform operational and strategic decisions
- Partner closely with Regional Sales Managers, Accounting, Legal, and Asset Recovery teams to investigate and reconcile inventory variances. Leveraging date and cross-functional collaboration to implement solutions that prevent future discrepancies
- Oversee recovery on missing inventory. Work collaboratively with dealers and accounting to facilitate timely payments to optimize collection processes
- Enhance inventory verification and dealer audits to validate inventory status
- Ensure all inventory data is accurately reflected in RTO tracking systems, supporting data integrity and real-time decision-making
- Proactively monitor inventory performance and key metrics
- Minimize idle assets periods by partnering with the Inside Sales Team and Dealers to proactively promote selling and leasing of company assets
- Manage inventory transfers, optimizing asset allocation across locations. Supporting inventory cleaning, repair process, and cost
What you need:
- Familiarity with inventory tracking software and web-based systems
- Professionalism and dedication to upholding Company standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization, ranging from small group discussions to large group presentations
- Microsoft 365 Suite capabilities with highly skilled Excel experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively
- Ability to manage, develop, and build Dealer relationships while maintaining a positive attitude aligned with Company values
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field)
- 3+ years of proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the lease purchasing or rental industry
