Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in material warehousing, material movement/flow, and tracking and reporting of on-hand material inventories
Desired Skills
- Experience using CMPRO, or NSLC or NAVSUP warehouse processes/systems
- Familiarity with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) compliance standards will be given special consideration
Description
- Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between various buildings based on manager designated priorities
- Reviews production schedules and to determine material requirements
- Arranges transfer of materials to meet movement schedules
- Examines material to verify type and quantities specified on movement requests
- Compiles reports of quantity and type of material on hand
