The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels within our manufacturing environment.

- The role requires expertise in using an ERP to track, analyze, and report on inventory data, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control.
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.
- Monitor and adjust stock levels as needed
- Track inventory movements, generate reports, and analyze inventory data.
- Ensure accurate data entry and updates to maintain inventory integrity.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to forecast inventory needs and initiate stock replenishment orders.
- Track lead times and manage order schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and ERP data.
- Analyze inventory trends, turnover rates, and other key performance indicators.
- Prepare and present reports to management to support decision-making processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory management efficiency.
- Work on optimizing inventory control procedures and systems.
- Collaborate with various departments including production, purchasing, and sales to ensure seamless inventory operations.
- Provide support and insights to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of inventory management principles, and experience working within a manufacturing setting.
- Associates degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related role, within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Work Schedule: 100% in office
