The Return Auditor is responsible for overseeing and managing the return process of goods within the warehouse. This includes auditing returned items, ensuring accuracy in the returns process, and maintaining detailed records. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle discrepancies efficiently

This position requires frequent business trips, so applicants should be able to travel without any issues.

 

Inspect and verify returned items against return documentation and original purchase orders.

Assess the condition of returned goods to determine their status (e.g., re-sellable, defective, or damaged).

Enter return details into inventory management systems accurately.

Maintain detailed records of returns, including reasons for return and the condition of goods.

 

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.

Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing is advantageous.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal staff.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry items up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs].

Capable of standing, walking, and performing manual tasks for extended periods.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, if required.
