Accountabilities :
Tasks :
- Respect of the HSE rules and requirements (20%)
- Develop HSE training and communication (weekly HSE meetings, Hazard ID's, Safety Stop Work, etc.),
- Ensures that all safety and housekeeping standards are adequate to achieve a safe work environment,
- Create all required conditions to avoid any long-term incident (LTI), analyze the root cause of any LTI, and implement corrective action plans.
- Promotes a shop safety awareness and culture for all employees, visitors, and contractors, ensuring the required PPE and safety policies are communicated and rules are respected.
- Product and Process quality
(30%)
- Supervises the cycle counting of all items. Implements counting methods and procedures to achieve high accuracy. Develops and implements methods and procedures for ensuring accurate quantity information on all transactions and that all inventory transactions are executed promptly and accurately.
- Implement and administer a cycle count program that meets the needs of the business and confirms audit standards.
- Collaborate with team members performing inbound and outbound operational processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Update processes and procedures to improve inventory flow and movement.
- Continuous improvement (30%)
- Work cross-functionally to identify root causes of inventory differences and implement process improvements in conjunction with warehouse and operations leadership.
- Ensures that production organization follows the 6S standards and ensures sustainability and plant accountability.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in flow, processes, procedures, and training, then create projects to deliver improvements with proper communication and feedback.
- Team management (20%)
- Conduct performance reviews with each team member to recognize great efforts, drive process adherence, and identify opportunities for professional growth.
- Selects, evaluates, motivates, and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce necessary to meet company objectives while complying with local employment guidelines,
- Empower manpower flexibility in terms of competencies.
- Create and sustain manpower plan including staffing, cross training, onboarding, and development to ensure proper staffing for execution of improvement plan and production goals.
- Sets personal objectives and key results quarterly to provide fair and constructive feedback that accurately assesses employee performance, training needs, areas for improvement, and the possibility of future growth within the organization, and ensures training & development needs are addressed,
- Develop a positive team dynamic to ensure a high-performance team culture and produce results.
- Leads the continuous improvement process in the team and ensures process effectiveness.

- Reports to the Planning Manager
- Works with other departments and support groups (Accounting, Purchasing, Planning, Traffic, Warehouse, HSE & Human Resources).

Knowledge, skills & abilities required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in warehouse inventory control
- A minimum two years of experience in warehouse inventory control management
- Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvements (6S, Kaizen, SMED, etc.),
- Excellent communication skills,
- Leadership skills,
- IT literate,
- Proficiencies in Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong aptitude for thinking critically, solving problems, and driving improvements professionally and respectfully.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams.

HSE requirements
- Follows the HSE policy by applying the instructions and procedures of the HSE manual, by participating actively in the Hazards ID's and (Near-miss) Incident Identification and by behaving safety.
- Ensures that all incidents and hazards are reported in a timely manner to HSE and management.
- ISO requirements
- Follows the directives of the Quality System (ISO 9001) chosen by applying the instructions and procedures of the system as specified in the documents of: I Quality manual, II Quality System Procedures, III Instructions.
- Ensuring process effectiveness and continuous improvements with all ISO compliance to requirements.
