Our client is a commercial real estate investment firm that prides themselves on identifying high-value investment opportunities and delivering exceptional returns for our stakeholders. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join their team!
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90,000 – $100,000
Position Overview:
The ideal Investment Analyst candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent financial modeling skills, and a passion for real estate investment. This Investment Analyst role involves supporting investment decision-making processes through comprehensive market analysis, financial evaluation, and property performance assessment.
Responsibilities of the Investment Analyst:
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the potential performance of real estate investments
- Prepare investment memorandums, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and potential investors
- Analyze property financials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing property documents, lease agreements, and market conditions
- Monitor and report on the performance of existing investment properties
- Collaborate with senior analysts and investment managers to support the acquisition and disposition process
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors affecting the real estate market
Qualifications for the Investment Analyst:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate investment analysis
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with expertise in Excel and other relevant software
- Familiarity with real estate valuation methods and metrics
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of real estate markets and investment trends is a plus. with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams
- Experience using Argus highly preferred
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or Business Administration is required
