Houlihan Lokey hires Associates to work specifically as part of industry aligned teams, assisting with a variety of investment banking services and transactions
This position will be based in Houlihan Lokey’s Chicago office, working with their established team of Industrials Group bankers
Corporate Finance associates support all facets of new business development and investment banking engagements by:Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clientsParticipating in end-to-end transaction execution including:Preparing client marketing presentationsAnalyzing historical and projected financial informationDeveloping complex financial and valuation modelsCoordinating transaction execution and performing business due diligenceParticipating in the development of recommendations to clients alongside senior bankersManaging and supervising junior banking team membersQualificationsThe environment at Houlihan Lokey is collegial entrepreneurial, and as such, rewards high-performing team members that are driven to succeed with substantial responsibility
The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative and outgoing, and possess:At least five years of investment banking or similar experienceAn undergraduate degree with academic distinctionAdvanced knowledge of accounting and financeExtensive financial modeling experience and strong analytical abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA very high degree of intellectual curiosity and the ability to think independentlyThe ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staffThe ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines in a highly organized manner An independent, solution-focused mindset Salary RangeHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation
