REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Investor Relations Services
JOB SUMMARY : This position is responsible for providing support to investors, Business Development executives, and the Investor Relations department as it relates to tracking, reporting, corresponding and recordkeeping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : These include the following but are not limited to the job specifications. Harbor Group Management Company may require additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely.
- Engage with new and existing investors committed to Harbor Group entities and funds with direction from the NY Investor Relations office.
- Manage investor information for compliance purposes including sending, tracking and reviewing documentation.
- Maintain and update investor information in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Monitor and track payments from investors including following up on overdue payments and subscription materials.
- Prepare and finalize entity raise sheet to provide to in-house accounting department.
- Generate accurate reports on overdue investors and related documents.
- Assemble investor information kits.
- Handle various correspondence and information requests from investors via email and mail.
- Support Investor Relations and Business Development executives by providing requested information and/or materials.
- Assist in organizing and preparing for investor fund presentation events.
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Three to five years of experience assisting and interacting in a business development, investment, legal services or similar environment preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe.
Must be detail oriented, highly organized, comfortable working with senior executives and high net worth individuals by phone, email, and investors.
Must have excellent phone skills and be comfortable working independently and cross departmentally.
Former experience with a CRM platform is a plus.
Experience working with institutional investors, a plus.
Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
WORKING CONDITIONS : This position could occasionally require evening and/or weekend work.
