Idaho Power — located in vibrant Boise, Idaho — is looking for an Investor Relations Manager to join our Finance team. It’s an exciting time to work for Idaho Power. While this position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, we offer both flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote. Relocation assistance may also be provided to the successful candidate.
Whatdoes an Investor Relations Managerdoforus?
They are responsible for developing the strategy and execution of the investor relations program for IDACORP (the NYSE-listed parent of Idaho Power Company) and Idaho Power. They work with senior management to analyze and describe the company’s strategy and investment thesis to the investment community by building strong relationships and being the liaison for external stakeholders including equity investors, debtholders, analysts, credit rating agencies, and other capital markets participants.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field
Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in investor relations, accounting, finance, business, economics, or a related field
OR
- Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
Preferred:
- Investor relations, asset manager (finance-related or buy-side role), sell-side research firm, or other financial institution related experience
Licenses & Certifications: N/A
Preferred:
- Certified Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, or finance-industry certifications preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people. There may be occasional lifts of no more than 10 lbs. The above is a summary of the primary essential functions of the position.
